Mallorca summer 2022: Activities for kids and families

The island’s famous beaches are just the start –  there are loads of other fun activities for kids and families, including summer camps, in Mallorca

Best restaurants in Mallorca
Best beaches in Mallorca

Mallorca is geared up for family adventures. As anyone taking children on holiday knows, there are times when beaches and sunny weather are just not quite enough to keep the kids amused.

Around 10 million tourists a year flock to Mallorca for its beautiful beaches and balmy weather (around 17C in winter and 85-90C in summer), and families with children make up a large proportion of the numbers.

Mallorca has catered for everyone with a wealth of attractions, theme parks, water parks and sports to grab the attention of even the most jaded teenager, so the MCC team has been putting together a list of activities for everyone to enjoy.

ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES

Pirates Adventure
This hugely popular attraction in buzzy Magaluf has been going for more than 30 years. It’s billed as a family dinner show but it’s a theatrical experience like Pirates of the Caribbean crossed with Cirque du Soleil. Pirates, acrobats, dancing, acting and comedy all combine in a spectacle that is bound to keep the children amused. The dinner is basically chicken and wedges with free soft drinks up until the show starts, but at least you won’t be wasting money on food the children won’t eat!
