The South of France’s ritziest holiday spot makes food an art form and has some of the best beaches around – check out our St Tropez restaurants and beach guide here
Sitting on the French Riviera is glitzy Saint-Tropez, loved by jet-setters and A-list celebrities for decades.
With its hot summers and Mediterranean climate, its beaches are hugely popular, but with them comes a fabulous food culture with restaurants ranging from the brightly casual to the Michelin-starred. Many lucky visitors have villas in the area and super yachts moor nearby.
It has to be said that St Tropez is one of the most exclusive holiday spots in France, so even quite humble restaurants rarely have humble prices – although there are some absolute gems if you look past the ultra-touristy areas.
The main beach is Pampelonne, where many of the most exclusive beach clubs and restaurants are located, in the Ramatuelle area, but there are some excellent restaurants in the port area and in the old town.
Here the MCC team has put together a list of suggested restaurants.
