During our busy summer months, one place remains consistently popular and busy with the MCC Community: Mallorca. This Balearic paradise combines stunning coastlines, a diverse beach scene, a vibrant history and plenty to do for adults and children alike.

Culture

Es Baluard Museu d'Art Contemporani – Mallorca's leading contemporary art museum, showcasing an impressive collection of modern and contemporary works alongside rotating international exhibitions. Its setting within Palma's historic city walls also offers some of the finest views across the harbour.

Fundació Miró Mallorca – Home to the former studios of Joan Miró, this unique foundation offers an insight into the artist's life and creative process, alongside an outstanding collection of his work. A must-visit for anyone interested in modern art.

Santa Maria del Camí Market – One of Mallorca's most authentic weekly markets, bringing together local producers, artisan crafts, fresh seasonal produce and traditional Mallorcan specialities in a relaxed village setting.

Festes de la Mare de Déu d'Agost – Throughout August, towns and villages across Mallorca celebrate with traditional fiestas featuring live music, processions, local food, evening entertainment and fireworks, offering an authentic glimpse into island life.

Olive Oil Tasting in Sóller – The Sóller Valley is home to centuries-old olive groves and family-run estates where visitors can discover the island's olive-growing heritage through guided tastings and tours of traditional fincas.

History

Palma Cathedral (La Seu) – Mallorca's architectural landmark, combining centuries of Gothic craftsmanship with later contributions from Antoni Gaudí and contemporary artist Miquel Barceló. Its position overlooking the sea makes it one of the island's defining sights.

Bellver Castle – One of Europe's few perfectly circular castles, offering panoramic views across Palma and the Bay of Mallorca. The castle also houses a museum exploring the island's history.

Nits a Bellver – A popular summer concert series held within the historic surroundings of Bellver Castle, featuring a programme of classical music, jazz and contemporary performances beneath the open sky.

Cap Rocat Festival – An intimate summer festival celebrating classical music through performances by internationally acclaimed artists in the spectacular surroundings of the historic Cap Rocat fortress.

Palma Jazz Festival - A seasonal programme of live jazz performances held across Palma, bringing together acclaimed local and international musicians in a variety of atmospheric venues throughout the city.

Annabel Restaurant

Offering refined Mediterranean cuisine in a chic waterfront setting in Palmanova. Guests can enjoy elegant indoor dining or a stylish terrace with sea views.

El Olivo
