 Crans-Montana is a Swiss ski region that has everything visitors could want all year round – not just winter sports. From hiking the beautiful mountains and trails in summer, to skiing them in winter, the attractions are constant. The resort offers panoramic views of the mountains, stretching from the Matterhorn to – on a clear day – Mont Blanc. 
 

It’s a popular spot with tourists and has plenty of upscale accommodation with the shopping to match, including Caviar House, Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Hermès. Le Crans

Bisse du Ro

Bisses are historic irrigation streams, some dating back to the 14th century, built to carry water from springs to more remote farmland. Nowadays many have been turned into hiking trails offering stunning views, one of the most popular being the Bisse du Ro, which runs from Lake Tseuzier along tall rock faces, crossing a 120m high footbridge.

Lake Grenon

Golf Club Crans-sur-Sierre Home of the Omega European Masters tournament, Crans-sur-Sierre has to be one of most stunning locations in world golf, with the Alps in front of you and lush green grass to play upon. There are two courses – an 18-hole designed by Severiano Ballesteros and nine-hole by Jack Nicklaus. Golf fans will be in heaven.

Hameau de Colombire

The picturesque hamlet of Colombire has a fortunate location near the ski slopes of Crans-Montana Aminona in winter and the picturesque Bisse de Tsittoret walking route in summer. The site offers courses in crafts and eco-skills, such as cheese-making, woodworking, foraging and yoga. Enthusiasts can stay in one of the simple but cozy alpine cottages or just go for a day course.
