Riyadh’s 10 best restaurants according to MCC members

service post

Wondering where to book your next dinner reservation? We’ve put together our most popular bookings requests to bring you Riyadh’s 10 best restaurants according to you, our members!

Barely a week goes by without a hip new restaurant opening in Riyadh (more on that coming soon!), but what of the current crop of chic eateries? The city’s restaurant scene has boomed in recent years, Covid notwithstanding, and with more than 90% of Riyadh’s population eating out at least once a week*, competition is fierce.

Since launching our popular Bookings service earlier this year, MCC’s concierge team has secured hundreds of reservations for our members at the city’s most coveted hotspots. We asked our concierge manager, Houria, for the most popular restaurants booked by you, our members, to help you plan your next dinner reservation.

You can make reservations for these, and hundreds of other destinations, by contacting our Bookings service, or messaging a member of the team via WhatsApp on +966 533 633 607. Did you know we can also help with your domestic and international travel plans? Get in touch to find out more...

LPM French restaurant / Riyadh

1. LPM Restaurant & Café

Opened in 2021, this upscale restaurant from chef patron Raphael Duntoye serves lunch and dinner in sophisticated surroundings, complete with contemporary artwork. The French-Mediterranean menu has won over a legion of fans who return time and time again for the convivial atmosphere as well as the outstanding food. Other outposts can be found in London, Dubai, Miami, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong.

San Carlo Cicchetti Italian restaurant / Riyadh

2. San Carlo Cicchetti

This award-winning international restaurant chain has gone from strength to strength since opening its doors in London in 1992. Several openings later, the brand’s Riyadh outpost has earned itself a reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in the city with its unique take on Venetian-inspired cicchetti - small plates of authentic seasonal fare to share or eat alone. Expect delicious food in elevated surroundings.

Billionaire restaurant Riyadh

3. Billionaire

Dripping with glamour, Billionaire is the brainchild of businessman and former F1 racing manager Flavio Briatore. Diners can expect a fusion of modern Italian/Aisian-style cuisine served in decadent surroundings with theatrical stage shows to boot. There’s even a 20m fire pit for added drama, where guests can watch meats grilling to perfection.

Marble steakhouse / Riyadh

4. Marble

Carnivores rejoice! Marble is all about meat - and boy do they know how to cook it! This farm-to-table grill and smoking restaurant has won rave reviews for its home-made flame-grilled burgers and steaks served with all the trimmings. The crème brûlée is a firm favourite with customers, but make no mistake, Marble is all about the meat. Open for dinner reservations only.

Le Maschou restaurant / Riyadh

5. Le Maschou

Nestled inside a stone building in the Diplomatic Quarter, Le Maschou’s arrival on the Riyadh restaurant scene earlier this year has been much celebrated by those with a taste for impeccable French cuisine served with a dash of Provençal charm. Delicious meats and delicate seafood dishes are cooked over a wood-fired grill in an intimate setting that’s perfect for romantic dinners a deux.

Myazu Japanese restaurant / Riyadh

6. Myazu

Contemporary Japanese food blended with sophisticated international influences is served with considerable flair at Myazu. The dishes are presented like works of art, and the surroundings - designed by top Japanese interior designer Noriyoshi Muramatsu - are equally impressive. The atmosphere is decadent and the food, suitably delicious.

Nobu Japanese restaurant / Riyadh

7. Nobu

The Riyadh outpost of this uber-successful international chain has all the glamour you’d expect of Nobu. Located on the second floor of the new Nobu Hotel, the dining room is infused with pared-back elegance, while the menu serves up perennial favourites such as black cod miso, rock shrimp tempura and wagyu beef ribeye tacos.

Mamo Michelangelo restaurant / Riyadh

8. Mamo Michelangelo

Serving elevated French and Italian classics in upscale surroundings has proved to be a winning formula for recently opened Mamo Michelangelo. The original restaurant in the French Riviera has been welcoming A-listers for more than 20 years, and the Riyadh outpost looks set to be just as popular as its gallic forerunner. Don’t miss the creamy burrata and truffle focaccia.

Yauatcha Japanese restaurant / Riyadh

9. Yauatcha

The Riyadh branch of this high-end international chain sits atop the Al Faisaliah Mall with jaw-dropping views, but Yauatcha’s take on modern Chinese food (specifically dim sum) is similarly noteworthy for all the right reasons. Peking duck and Angus ribeye are popular choices, as is the venison puff.

Meraki greek restaurant / Riyadh

10. Meraki

Recently opened Meraki is already making waves with its authentic Greek cooking, including its trademark fresh seafood, and Insta-worthy mocktails. Chef Patron Athinagoras Kostakos hasn’t looked back since first opening in London in 2017, and its Riyadh sister looks set to equal its success. The bright, airy dining room has a relaxed vibe, with floor-to-ceiling windows affording stunning views of the Faisaliah tower and the city skyline.
