Protected by mountains, Marbella and the surrounding area enjoy a subtropical Mediterranean climate, not too hot and not too cold, which makes it hugely popular with tourists. And with good reason.

1. Cappuccino Grand Café
This busy café and restaurant has a good position on the harbourfront overlooking the boats in the marina. Good breakfasts served, plus brunch, lunch, dinner – including minute steaks, pizzas and sushi – and a good range of mocktails.

2. A1 Aretusa Marbella

3. Picasso

Italian restaurateur Sandro Morelli opened Tiberio almost two decades ago and offers fine dining in luxurious surroundings.
